Panoramic Sunset View! Waterfront, Firepit

We had a fun family stay and really enjoyed the location. The property is conveniently located near Lake Barkley Marina and park, and a Dollar General, which was great for anything we needed during our stay.There were definitely some positives. All of the beds and bedding were very comfortable, and the sheets and blankets smelled extremely clean and fresh. The kitchen was also well stocked with pretty much every utensil we needed.That said, there are several areas that need some serious attention and updating. The overall cleanliness could have been better, and many things throughout the property are showing their age. Several of the doors were not functioning properly, and there was no ice maker even though one is advertised. There was also a board sticking up from the deck that was a significant safety concern and could easily have caused someone to trip or get hurt.Another major concern for families with children is the lack of a safe place to actually swim. The water/shoreline area was not really suitable for swimming, and we would not consider it a safe option for young children.Overall, we enjoyed spending time together as a family and appreciated the location, comfortable beds, clean-smelling linens, and well-stocked kitchen. However, the property needs some significant cleaning, maintenance, safety improvements, and updating to reach its full potential.

Our whole family of 12 stayed at this property and we all had the best time.. The property was big enough for all of us. Our grandkids enjoyed the basement area even with a Tornado warning. I would highly recommend staying here.

The property was just as advertised. COMFORTABLE beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful views.

Well-stocked kitchen, clean and comfortable rooms. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset view while relaxing around the fire. Perfect for a weekend getaway. The host was prompt to respond to any questions. Would recommend this property 10/10.
